My name is Teminusi Onetoritsebawo Paul, and I hail from Warri, where my musical journey began at a very young age. Growing up, I discovered my passion for music in the children’s choir at church. From there, I progressed into the teenage choir and eventually into the adult choir, with each stage shaping my growth and strengthening my love for music. Along the way, I developed skills in both the guitar and piano, starting from my time in the children’s class. While I learned to play both instruments, my heart has always been deeply connected to the guitar, which remains my main focus and passion. My musical journey has not always been easy. It has come with challenges, lessons, and moments of uncertainty, but through it all, God’s grace has kept me going and helped me grow stronger. Every experience has contributed to the musician and worshipper I am today. This competition means so much to me because it represents another opportunity to express my gift, grow, and inspire others through music. Above all, I am grateful for how far God has brought me, and I look forward to what lies ahead.

The inspiration
What keeps me going
What inspires me to do what I do is my love for God and the passion I have for music. From a young age, being in the choir helped me discover that music is more than just singing—it’s a way to connect with God and touch people’s lives. I’m inspired by the ability of music to heal, encourage, and bring hope to others. Seeing how a song can change someone’s mood, strengthen their faith, or remind them of God’s love keeps me going. Also, my journey has not always been smooth, so every challenge I’ve faced has pushed me to grow stronger and better. That growth, along with God’s grace, continues to inspire me to keep learning, improving, and using my gift for His glory.
