A Greater Glory. Part 7.

Beloved, as we go from one day to the other, we must not forget that we are given the opportunity to live in the presence of the Lord. The Lord our God has the final say about each life on the face of the earth. If we are serious about bringing God glory each day, our lives will be completely different. Without doubt, we will begin to live conscious of the privilege and opportunity the Lord has given us. The Lord God Almighty is the owner of the heavens and the earth and it is a great privilege for us to be counted worthy to bring Him glory. The Lord has all powers in heaven and on earth and He stands out as God.

The word of the Lord in Haggai chapter 2 verses 7 to 9 says,

“And I will shake all nations and the

desire and the precious things of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with splendor, says the Lord of hosts.

8 The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of hosts.

9 The latter glory of this house [with its successor, to which Jesus came] shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts; and in this place will I give peace and prosperity, says the Lord of hosts.”

The Lord our God has brought into reality the coming of the Lord Jesus and the manifestations that followed are a great wonder for all to see, but it is unfortunate that many only show up after this life to realize they have missed the greatest opportunity. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by, for you have just one life to live and make things right.

The last verse of Haggai chapter 2 which happens to be verse 23 says, “In that day, says the Lord of hosts, will I take you, O Zerubbabel, My servant, the son of Shealtiel, says the Lord, and will make you [through the Messiah, your descendant] My signet ring; for I have chosen you [as the one with whom to renew My covenant to David’s line], says the Lord of hosts.”

The Lord our God has chosen the Messiah and without doubt, it has become like the signet ring. Through Him the covenant of David’s line has now come into life for the world to acknowledge. Hallelujah! To our God be the praise and the glory.

Before the Lord Jesus was made manifest as a baby who walked on the face of the earth, accomplished His work, was crucified, resurrected back to life and ascended to heaven, it is amazing that some who lived in Israel were still ignorant of the awesome God present in their midst. May we not miss the glory of God in our time. Shalom!
