In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit. That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it—to the praise of His glory.
Contemplation
The manifestation of the glory and presence of the Lord makes a huge difference in the midst of the saints. Some may have accepted the gift of salvation and it is a beautiful opportunity that they made it to heaven, but when this is compared to a soul who has been living in the fear of the Lord and has continue to make greater impact in the lives of many for the kingdom of God, something glorious is unfolding.
In verse 13 of the book of Ephesians chapter 1, the scripture says,
“In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.”
It is such a beautiful transformation for us to be stamped with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit. Without doubt, the Word of Truth has made a glorious impact in the lives of those who walk in it by faith.
In verse 14, the word of the Lord says,
“That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it—to the praise of His glory.”
Hallelujah! There are glorious things falling in place by the help of the Lord in amazing dimensions. We were told that the Holy Spirit is the great guarantee of our inheritance and this is what makes a glorious difference. This is what gives us the bold confidence of a full redemption and to God Almighty be all the praise and the glory. If we want to walk in the fullness of the grace and glory that the Lord intended for us, then our eyes must be completely focused on the Lord Jesus. There are dimensions of glory with our names written on it, but it can only be given to us when we live up to the expectations of God, Let the Lord manifest His glory in and through you. There is a glorious inheritance boldly written with your name well established. Let the Lord be glorified through you.
Practical issues
If we will let the Lord make full use of us, strange manifestations will fall in place in Jesus mighty name. Shalom!
